It is an online collection of PKGBUILDs and related files. It is just a tool to build packages, not manage them. It does download the source files specified in the PKGBUILD, but that's it. It is just a tool to build a package from a PKGBUILD that you have created or downloaded yourself. It does not automatically download PKGBUILDs either because it does not know about ABS, the AUR. ![]() Makepkg cannot resolve dependencies outside of the binary repos configured in nf. Please read up on pacman, makepkg, ABS, AUR, and PKGBUILDS.īasically, pacman resolves dependencies for built packages using the databases downloaded from the binary repos configured in /etc/nf.
